Dear Church Family,
We are thankful that as our city and state begin to move beyond quarantine, we can also take small steps toward gathering together. The church elders have formulated the below plan for Sunday Celebration and other important church programs.
The elders continue to monitor state, county and city recommendations for staying safe during these times as well as think through our own unique church setup and facilities to create plans for offering some form of celebration service. Our hearts desire is to quickly return to Sunday Celebration, but we must balance this with wisdom and prudence for the comfort and safety of our members and guests.
Know that we love you and continue to pray for you during this time.

Sunday Celebrations
- As we begin to corporately gather, we will take a phased approach to returning to Sunday Celebration with our first phase one gathering on June 7th
- Sunday celebration services will continue to be delivered online and made available on our website for those not ready or unable to attend services.
- Members and guests should prayerfully consider whether to attend service or not. There is no attendance expectation as we begin. Additionally, we encourage those in high risk health categories to continue to use our online resources.
- We will make the following considerations in phase one services:
- Kids programs and nursery will not be offered, kids will attend service with their parents.
- We will divide into two services, tentatively set for 9am and 11am, to limit the number of attendees per service.
- The elders will assign all members and guests a designated service time to attend, please attend the service you have been designated to attend only (goal is to avoid overcrowding).
- We will start and end services promptly so please be 10 minutes early for your designated service.
- Service times will be condensed allowing for departure of members before the next service begins and thorough cleaning between services.
- Greeters and ushers will wear face masks to provide a safe and clean environment.
- We will not be passing an offering plate or doing greeting during our first phase of service. For online giving and to see more about how we view giving you can visit our giving page here.
- Hand sanitizer will be available, and we will be following CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting the building.
- We ask members and guests to adhere social distancing guidelines for yourself and for other families while on campus
- We ask that everyone err on the side of love, grace and caution as we start with our initial gatherings so that everyone feels comfortable (Philippians 2:3). Please refrain from handshakes, hugs, etc. while on campus.
Our Campus and Wednesday Services
- VBS will not be taking place this summer.
- Arise in person meetings will be placed on hold through the summer and reevaluated in the Fall.
- Wednesday programs will not be meeting for the remainder of the summer and will be reevaluated as we approach the Fall.
- We will be working with ministry leaders such as Youth, Creative Kids, and re|engage to formulate plans for facilitating ongoing programs and carefully evaluate the move to some form of in person ministry meetings.
Community Groups
- We encourage the body to actively participate in their Community Groups that are meeting virtually and in some limited instances in person.
- We see Community Groups as the primary connection point for our flock to each other and through your community group leaders to church leadership.
- Community groups may consider meeting in smaller settings, as wisdom permits. We encourage you to avoid isolation while showing preference to one another (Romans 12:10) as you accommodate the needs of people who have health conditions or other concerns that may keep them from an in-person gathering.
- Find creative ways to love and care for one another as you consider how your group will connect and meet together.
Kids Curriculum
- Sunday morning content for Kingdom Kidz continues to be delivered via the ‘Virtual Church’ page.
- Devotions oriented towards kids will continue to be delivered via Facebook posts during the week.
- We highly encourage parents to leverage this time to lead intentional times of getting in God’s Word with your children and we pray these resources will help facilitate these times for your family.
Caring for One Another
- The Benevolence program will continue to run so those who are in a financial position to give we ask that you pray about giving to the benevolence fund which will be used to address the financial needs of our congregation over the coming months.
- That you continue to pray and minister to one another through your family and community groups. We see the lion’s share of the work of the ministry being done in the home and in community groups.
- For those that can please continue to faithfully give online or by a check via mail as your spiritual act of worship.
