Why be Connected?

Welcome!  My name is RJ Dugone and I have the privilege of being a Teaching Elder/Pastor at Believers Church.  Walking through the doors of an unfamiliar church can be challenging; however, at Believers Church we have guests visiting us almost every Sunday.  They visit us for a number of reasons.  Do any of the following scenarios sound familiar?
  • ​​"I just moved to the area and I am looking for a church home."
  • "I had a bad experience attending church in the past, but I want to give church another try."
  • "I don't have much of a church background, but I find myself interested in developing a spiritual life."
  • "I grew up in church and I want my children to experience the same things that I experienced as a child attending church."
Whatever your reason for either visiting this site or attending a service at Believers Church, please know that we love connecting with new people and are committed to developing relationships that enrich all of our lives as a Christian Community.

How to Connect?

  • Sunday Celebration: Attend our Sunday Celebration!  Service starts at 10 AM and lasts for about 90 minutes.  You will experience a Welcoming Congregation, Contemporary Worship and Bible-Centric Teaching.  We have ministry for children during that time called, Kingdom Kidz.  This includes a nursery and a graded children's program.  (Preschool through Elementary)  
  • Community Groups: Join a Community Group!  Our Community Groups are Discipleship-Centric small groups.  This is a time where people sit in someone's living room or around a dinner table and discuss the Word of God.  It is a time of fellowship, sharing, learning and prayer.  It is an excellent opportunity to break through the anonymous barriers and experience the richness of meaningful relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
  • Membership Classes: Sign-up and attend membership classes!  Once a quarter we give visitors an opportunity to learn more about Believers Church and decide if "we" are a good fit for each other in serving the purposes of God.  
  • Ministries: Participate in a ministry!  We have a number of ministries to meet the spiritual needs of people and to enhance the disciple-making process.  The ministries would include: Kingdom Kidz, Advance (Youth Ministries), The Bridge (College Ministries), Men and Women's Ministries.
  • Opportunities to Serve: Pursue your calling in Christ Jesus!  We have a plethora of opportunities for people to serve in meaningful ministry.  According to scripture, everyone has a meaningful role to fulfill in order for the church to effectively function.  We view all of our members as people who are called and gifted to build the Kingdom of God.
